KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Develop a Sales information system and sales analysis for Management's information and decision-making. Sales database should include KCL’s and competitive sales data, market share and other data as needed;
• Prepare periodic projections and annual or 3-5year sales forecasts;
• Act as lead support to commercial operations team (Marketing and Sales) for activations as well as tracking and reporting sales figures on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, midyear and yearly basis.
• Run trend analysis of sales figures by SKU vs. past trading period’s .i.e. (previous week, month, quarter, half year and full year respectively) for decision making.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and the Brand and Sales team in running national and/or consumer promotions, distributor incentive programs to generate sales and achieve sales forecasts for each financial year.
• Responsible for keeping an accurate customer data base and regularly communicate with them as follows;
• Follow up on sales information (fulls and empties stock levels in their respective warehouses on a daily basis)
• Prompt Sales managers when customers are reaching minimum stock levels for respective brands.
• Communicate new company policies – example, new prices, promotions, of KCL and competitors’ etc.
• Inform them of no sales operations during holidays for the Marketing Manager.
QUALIFICATION:
• 1st Degrees degree in Business Administration (Marketing) or CIM UK, MBA Marketing/Project Management / Statistics will be a plus
• 5 yrs relevant experience in Marketing Services Management /Sales Operations or equivalent in a consumer goods company.
• Experience in consumer and trade research work and dealing with consumers /distributors/wholesalers.
